The LCD temperature range should be based on the actual temperature inside the equipment, not only the outdoor air temperature. Before selecting a monitor, confirm the minimum and maximum operating temperature, storage conditions, cold-start requirement and temperature cycling.
Minimum temperature: A low temperature LCD display may be required for cold regions, outdoor equipment and transportation systems.
Maximum temperature: A high temperature LCD display should be considered when the monitor is installed near heat sources or inside a poorly ventilated enclosure.
Storage and cycling: Storage temperature is different from operating temperature. Repeated hot-and-cold cycles should also be considered.
Touch and visibility: Brightness, viewing angle and touch performance should be checked under the required temperature conditions.
The AMG-10IPYY03T5 model is specified for -30°C to 85°C operation and storage. This range applies to the published model and should not be assumed for every configuration.
When requesting a recommendation, provide the screen size, operating temperature, touch requirement, signal interfaces, mounting dimensions and expected quantity.
Different applications require different combinations of temperature range, brightness, touch technology and mechanical integration. Wide temperature displays should be selected according to the actual equipment environment.
Confirm cold-start performance, operating temperature, viewing angle, power input and mounting requirements for equipment exposed to outdoor temperature changes.
Measure the highest temperature inside the enclosure, especially when the equipment is exposed to direct sunlight or limited ventilation.
Consider heat generated by internal components, continuous operating time, interfaces, touch technology and available installation space.
If direct sunlight is present, specify brightness and anti-glare requirements separately. A wide temperature rating alone does not guarantee sunlight readability.
Send the application conditions and mechanical requirements to Amongo for a suitable configuration recommendation.
